BIG SMOKE (MA Film)
One night in the Big Smoke, people’s lives are about to be altered for the better. Citizens believe they are content and safe in an existence controlled by the State, but the world is colourless, devoid of art, music and individuality.
The citizens, whose generation have never heard music, begin to hear the sound, triggering vibrant colours to whirl around the street. The broadcast is breathing new life into a stagnant city.
People who live under curfew will take to the street and demonstrate the vibrancy of music, dance, art and community.
SHOWREEL 2022
An amalgamation of films based on a passion for music visuals and story based animation. The music is as important as the visuals because, despite being imprecisely timed, the way a viewer processes the video as one entity, meaning that connections can be drawn between the sound and the image.
